Seattle
Seven
Monthly Evening Meetings on Issues of Topical Interest Including Regulatory
Updates The Seattle chapter sponsors seven evening
meetings each year (traditionally in September, October, November, January,
February, March and May). The cost is modest, the food is great, and the
speakers are exceptional. Members are encouraged to share their knowledge and
expertise with the group during the question and answer period and while hors
d’oeuvres are being served after the formal section of the program is
complete. The Seattle chapter also sponsors a day-long
Spring Seminar every April with basic learning and more advanced topics for all
levels of interest. Details about the 2008 Spring Seminar will soon be
available. Our monthly evening meetings run from September
through May on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, at the conveniently located
McCormick & Schmick’s Harborside on south Lake Union (1200 Westlake
North, Seattle). Discounted ($3.00) parking is provided after 5 p.m. The
meetings begin with registration starting at 5:00 p.m. where everyone can
network with others in the benefits community. The program begins at 5:30 p.m.
with a sit-down dinner served just prior to the presentation. Two meetings each
year include a technical session beginning in the afternoon, in addition to the
regular evening meeting. Meeting fees are noted on the meeting notices and may
vary from time to time. We welcome suggestions for dinner
meeting topics and speakers. Click HERE
