Our speakers will be:

Hitz Burton, JD                              Aon                                                                       Mr. Burton is a Partner in Aon’s Newport Beach office. Hitz provides advice to clients regarding the design and administration of their qualified and nonqualified retirement plans. Hitz also has extensive work experience as the lead consultant on more than a dozen compliance audits for qualified retirement plans over the last several years. Additionally, Mr. Burton has been the lead Hewitt consultant on over 40 acquisitions for Fortune 200 clients of the firm. Prior to joining Hewitt in 1997, Mr. Burton was an associate with the Boston law firm of Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar where he worked in the firm’s ERISA practice group and specialized in providing clients with advice regarding how their merger and acquisition activity would impact their benefit plans and programs. Hitz is the current Past President for the Orange County Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council. 

Phuong Jennings, QKA                   EGPS, Inc.                                     

Phuong Jennings, Regional Vice President, brings with her over 15 years of 401(k) and pension industry knowledge with an exceptional understanding of ERISA legal plan documents. She works with Financial Advisers, CPAs and other trusted advisers in helping design the appropriate 401(k), Profit Sharing or Defined Benefit/Cash Balance plan for their business clients. She started out in the Third Party Administration (TPA) side of the business and have also been on the recordkeeping vendor side of the industry as well. Her hands-on experiences have given her an in-depth understanding of the technical world of retirement plans. 

Stuart Hack, JD, CLU                           Sunlin Consulting
Mr. Hack is a Partner with Sunlin Consulting LLC and Vice President of Sunlin Consulting Investment Advisory Services LLC.  He advises qualified plan sponsors and record keepers on fiduciary liability exposure management.  He designs, implements and monitors fiduciary best-practices programs, including fully documented ERISA 404(a)(5), 404(c) and 408(b)(2) compliance solutions. Mr. Hack is a former President of the Orange County Chapter of the WP&BC and current Board Member.

Mark Murphy, CPA                            LTSP, Inc.

Mr. Murphy is the Managing Partner/ Audit Partner at LTSP, Inc. which he joined in 1985 after five years as the controller of a local holding company that operated and controlled commercial real estate properties and a printing/publishing company. As a partner, he is primarily in charge of planning and supervising audit and other attestation engagements in a wide array of industries including technology, healthcare, real estate, service, distribution and manufacturing. He also has extensive experience with providing audit and compliance services to various types of employee benefit plans covered under ERISA. His experience also includes providing audit services to organizations and entities under the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) programs.


 This Seminar will be held as an online zoom meeting.  Check-in is open from 8:30 a.m. PST
